Car 23 pulled a 2nd enroute after reports of flames and heavy smoke, and station 213 arrived to find a well involved fire on the first floor of this townhouse, part of a retirement complex near the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital. Pumper 213 stretched a couple of lines in the front door, and Aerial 213 laid one up to the roof to bring this fire under control. An unconscious female was found and transported to the hospital across the street.
